Description

The County Administrative Board is looking for a project employee at 50% for the unit of energy, land, and climate.

Your workplace will be at our office in Falun, but you will have the opportunity to work remotely. The employment is permanent. Start as soon as possible by agreement.

Responsibilities

The Border Committee Innlandet-Dalarna was established in 2012, then as the Border Committee Hedmark-Dalarna. It is one of the youngest border committees in Sweden and Norway. The members of the committee are: Region Dalarna, the County Administrative Board of Dalarna, the Innlandet County Municipality, and the State Administrator in Innlandet. The partners are Sør-Østerdal's inter-municipal political council and border municipalities in Dalarna.

The Border Committee works on behalf of its members and the Nordic Council of Ministers.

You will be part of the secretariat responsible for implementing the annual action plan developed by the committee's steering group and administrative management group. The secretariat is located in both Norway and Sweden and has a total of 1.2 full-time employees. Your closest colleague is the secretariat's employee on the Norwegian side and the County Administrative Board's representative in the management group. The organization's administrative body chooses the head of the secretariat. Currently, Innland's county municipality is the administrative body.

Your role includes planning, coordinating, and following up activities within competence supply, coordinated development strategies, green transition, and attractive local communities, as well as creating dialogue and networks between municipalities, regions, educational actors, and other partners. As part of the secretariat, you are responsible for conducting conferences and workshops, initiating projects, and facilitating collaboration among other actors across the border.

Qualifications

For this role, we see that you need to have a good ability to plan and structure your work. You also need to have good analytical skills and be comfortable with administrative work as well as being able to express yourself well in both speech and writing.

You have experience in planning and conducting various conferences and educational initiatives in somewhat larger contexts.

You have experience leading projects and working independently.

As an employee, you have the ability to take initiative and actively seek responsibility for tasks. Our complex operations require that you can view issues from different perspectives to make the right decisions. Together with your colleague on the Norwegian side, you work towards common goals, and it is therefore a prerequisite that you are good at both collaborating and communicating with others.

Requirements

  • Academic degree from a college or university with a focus that the employer deems relevant for the position.
  • Driver's license B.
  • You have good knowledge of Swedish and English.
  • Experience in driving strategic and process-oriented work.
  • Analytical ability.
  • Initiative-taking.

Meritorious

  • Previous experience of collaboration with various interest groups in Dalarna.
  • Experience in public authority work.
  • Knowledge of Nordic cooperation, regional development, and state processes.
  • Experience in leading collaboration between different actors, both in the public sector and civil society.
